Where do all our members come from?
Thanks to our hardworking Membership Committee, lots of new people are getting to know us by visiting a meeting or as an invited guest at one of our Membership Mixers!
Interested?  Send us a message through this website. Click on CONSTANT US.
And, of course, new members find us at our Annual Hilo Brewfest!
Thanks to all of you (1300+ people!) who supported our annual signature fundraising event!  We are again sharing the profits with the Hilo Medical Primary Care Physician Training Program and The Friends of the Children’s Center of East Hawaii.
Helping our Community
July 16 ~ Do you enjoy sitting on a park bench, gazing out at the bay? Club members helped to first pour concrete slabs and then install THREE benches at “Rotary Park”. Enjoy these new additions!
This park is the first one on the left after you turn onto Kalanianaole in Keaukaha.
July 22 ~ Keeping our beautiful Island of Hawai’i clean!
Weed pulling prevents unwanted invasive species being transported up to higher elevation areas of
Maunakea. 29 bags of fireweed won’t make it up towards the top of our amazing mountain!
Learning About our Community at Weekly Meetings
July 7 ~ Hilo High School Robotics Students tell us about their amazing progress in competition on statewide and national levels... and show off their robot to interested club members.
July 14 ~ Chris Ridley of the Alzheimers Association talks about knowing the “Ten Signs of Alzheimers”. (Don’t worry if you lost your keys!)
July 21 ~ Olivia Rounds of Hilo Bike Hub tells us of her solo adventures crossing the US on her bike! Member Mike Meyers introduces Olivia and shares some “bike-care” advice.
July 28 ~ Coaches Daniel Kuramoto and Misty Ambrosio tell us about “Surf Soccer Club" that trains keiki and helps to get them on the road to success... in soccer and life.
