New Member: Mary Bicknell - Big Island Book Buyers

Rotary Rice Rally: On Saturday, November 18 at the downtown  KTA SuperStores. Rotarians kindly asked shoppers to donate one bag of rice to give to the Salvation Army. Six hours later, 380 pounds of rice was delivered and stocked at the Salvation Army location in Hilo. Turkey Shredding:  Nov. 19 ~ Club Members, High School and College Students help shred cooked turkey for the Salvation Army Thanksgiving meals.

 

Baskets:  Nov. 21 ~ Rotarians and Waiakea HS Interact helped make Door Prize Gift Baskets tor the Salvation Army Thanksgiving Dinner.

 

Mehana:  Nov. 10 ~ Checking out Mehana Brewery for our Brewfest Ticket Sale Day, and, oh, yeah, the beer!

 

Gandy: Nov. 4 ~  BG (R) Gandy gave us an inspiration speech for Veterans' Day. Then the next day, Saturday, Nov. 5,  Rotarians lined up and marched in Hilo's  Veteran's Day Parade in downtown.
