Aloha Fellow Rotarians,
Hawaii Rotary has been chosen as the Community Parade Marshal for the upcoming Hawai'i Island Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 4th, at 10:00 a.m. The parade celebrates community service and honors the service and sacrifice of our veterans. We are inviting all Big Island clubs to participate in this exciting event.
Our club president, Jeremiah Leonard, has generously offered his 12' trailer to be used as a float, and we also welcome walkers to carry their club's banners. Line-up begins at Wailoa State Park at 8:00 a.m., and decorating can be done. For more details, see the attached flyer or email me.
We encourage all Rotarians to register and attend to show their Rotary pride and support for our veterans and Hawaii Rotary as Community Parade Marshal. Let's have a great turnout of Rotarians wearing their Rotary shirts and holding their banners high.
In the greatest of support,
Beverly

Thursday, Feb. 22, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Arc of Hilo. No cost to attend. If you can, bring a pupu/finger food dish to share (optional). The club will provide the drinks. We have a LOT of new members who've become part of our Rotary family last year and so far this year. We don't always have a lot of time to get to know each other at regular meetings. Aloha,
Harvey and I are excited to extend an invitation to an intimate mini-mixer at Kuhio Grille on Tuesday, March 19th, for dinner at 6:00 PM. We aim to keep it cozy with a maximum of 6 Rotarians, including ourselves, making it a total of 8 attendees. We believe this number is perfect for meaningful conversations and a chance to get to know each other better.
Please help us spread the word, and once we reach our limit of 6 attendees, we'll close the list. Each participant is kindly requested to cover their own dinner expenses.
We look forward to a delightful evening of camaraderie and fellowship. Don't miss out – RSVP soon!
Best regards,
Harvey and Helene Tajiri
