Another successful event in books!  We raised a whopping $430 for The YWCA of Hawai'i Island and we're back again for a June Social Squad event!

The mission of the Rotary Club of Hilo Social Squad is socializing with purpose by providing impactful support & awareness to local causes, organizations, and projects.  This month we'll be supporting our friends at Hawaii Island Home for Recovery.

Friday's meeting will be at the White Guava Cafe.  This is the last meeting of the Rotary Year.  President Beverly has some information from District to pass on to us.

We will have a buffet luncheon.  The cost is $25, including your beverage of choice.  If you aren't buying a meal, there will be a $5 charge for beverages.  Here's a link so you can prepay for the buffet if you'd like.

Please ALSO register or RSVP by Thursday so that we can get a count to the restaurant. Patty Bray, our club treasurer, will accept your payment at the restaurant if you haven't prepaid.

Please keep in mind: The Rotary Club of Hilo recognizes the responsibility of our Club members to each other and to the community. Therefore -- in addition to following all county guidelines —  it is our policy that all attendees at meetings and other events will have been vaccinated for Covid or will have a recent negative Covid test. We will not check documents before events because we rely on the integrity of our members and guests.

Mandatory meeting for all volunteers for Hilo Brewfest 2022.

We will be collecting Back to School supplies throughout July to distribute to schools in August.  Collection at club meetings from July until Aug. 5.  Additional drop off locations TBA.  Please write your name on your bag of donations.

This district-organized event will include the D5000 Distict Governor installation and the installation of officers and directors for three East Hawaii clubs, including the Rotary Club of Hilo.  Come and participate in the installation Connie Ichinose of as our new President, and our own Randy Hart as District Governor. 🎉🍾 Cost is $55.
