![]() The Satellite SMVF & First Responders Club has partnered up with TWV HI, Hawaii Vet2Vet & The Guardian Foundation to raise awareness for Veterans Suicide. 22 Veteran lives were taken by Suicide each month across the United States. Through our efforts of sign waving, educational classes and campaigns that number statistically has dropped to 17.6. While it has dropped, we still feel that 1 Veteran life taken per day is too many, therefore in honor of the Veteran lives taken by Suicide, we raise awareness on the 22nd of every month for 1 hour by holding signs and educating others that help is there...Any Is Too Many.

📅 Special Rotary Club of Hilo Meeting – April 25, 2025 We’re thrilled to announce a very special off-site Rotary meeting on Friday, April 25th, hosted at the fully renovated Salvation Army location in Hilo. This is not a meeting to miss! We’ll be honored by the presence of a true VIP—our Honorable Mayor, Dr. Kimo Alameda—who will join us to share his vision and priorities for his term as Mayor of Hawai‘i County. This is a rare opportunity to connect with our island’s leadership and hear firsthand what’s ahead for our community. 🌟 Please mark your calendar and plan to attend—this meeting will not be held at our usual Grand Naniloa location. Let’s show our appreciation with a strong Rotary turnout! |
