Wet Times at the Hilo Triathlon

Twelve Rotarians and two guests braved the wet weather to work the Bike Turnaround at the Hilo Triathlon in Pepeekeo. Light rain was already falling as we started the set-up at 7:00 am. By the time the 230 or so bikers made it to the our station the crew was soaked to the bone. Never the less, we had a great time and are already looking forward to next year's event.

Joining us were Rotarians Newton Chu, Cindy Boots, Kathleen McGilvray, Mike Robinson, Susan Munro, Lorraine Inouye, Theresa English, Jenny Johnson, Jimmy Yagi, Christina Dhillon, Kerry Glass and Richard Johnson. Our guests were neighbor's Raquel Dow and Nathan Zilz.

Following the event we all gathered at Kerry & Susan's for French Toast, real bacon and fruit salad. Susan was waiting with dry towels to keep us from coming down with pneumonia.
