Ride So They Can Walk -
A series of bike rides to raise funds to end polio forever in the world is continuing til the end of the year!
Ride however and wherever you wish. For more information and to register and/or to donate go to the RotaryD5000 website and click on Ride for Polio. It will walk you through the steps. Then ask friends and family to sponsor your ride with donations – 100% of those funds go directly to polio eradication with every dollar being matched 2-1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
When Rotary began this project in 1988 there were 350,000 cases a year worldwide – this year there have been 16 cases in only 2 countries. Zero is the magic number - Your assistance is needed to eradicate this crippling disease forever. Log on and donate today.
